Support Affordable Post-Secondary Education in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Every government for the past 15 years has committed to improving the quality and accessibility of post-secondary education in Newfoundland and Labrador. From freezing tuition fees, reducing tuition fees, eliminating the interest on student loans, and replacing provincial loans entirely with up-front needs-based grants, the government of Newfoundland and Labrador has long recognized that there is no better investment in the future of our province than investing in post-secondary education. In the 2015 provincial election, students are sending a clear message to all parties that they must commit to maintaining the long-standing tuition freeze for all students and restoring harmful education funding cuts to the College of the North Atlantic and Memorial University.
